If you don’t require audio and music for your wedding ceremony, the Lemon DJ Package is perfect for just the reception portion of your wedding celebration. Your DJ is onsite early to load in and set up before doors open so your guests arrive to background music already playing for refreshments and dinner, with some grand entrance fun locked and loaded when your wedding photos are done. Because the DJ is onsite the entire time, your MC can take advantage of our audio support and use our microphone throughout the evening. Once the formalities conclude, your DJ turns up the vibes with a great variety of music and a few lighting effects to add a little pizzazz to the dance floor. This DJ package covers up to 8 consecutive hours of service for your wedding reception (usually 5pm-1am) plus planning assistance beforehand.
Year after year, the most popular choice for Juiced couples is the Lime DJ Package which includes everything in the Lemon DJ Package PLUS audio and music for your wedding ceremony, whether it takes place in the exact same spot or a completely different location—even if it has no electricity—as well as four uplights which can be set to a desired colour, or programmed to cycle through all the colours. This DJ package covers up to 10 consecutive hours of service on the wedding day (usually 3pm-1am) plus detailed planning assistance beforehand, including extra help for your your MC.
The DJ package with the best value hands-down is the Orange DJ Package which includes everything in the Lime DJ Package PLUS more! You may have audio coverage for up to three sites, like a ceremony location, a cocktail patio, and an indoor reception. You get the most lighting with a total of 8 uplights and twice the dance floor effects. You get a video projection system if you’re showing a picture tribute to your guests. We handle every aspect of the MC services too with all the associated research that helps us get to know you better so we can do a great job hosting your event. You’ll even have a Juiced DJ attend your ceremony rehearsal (based on availability, so book this date early; additional travel charges may apply). This DJ and MC package covers up to 12 consecutive hours of service on the wedding day (usually 1pm-1am) plus our most comprehensive planning assistance beforehand.
Every full-service DJ package comes standard with access to our online planning suite, complimentary brainstorming sessions right at our office or online, and all the necessary DJ and audio equipment which we transport, install, and operate for you. A Juiced photo booth is the most popular add-on to a Juiced DJ package, and you save $100 when you pair the two! Photo booths come with UNLIMITED sessions for the time period you choose, and your choice of strips or postcard-sized prints that we personalize just for you!

It’s not everyday you book a DJ. You may be wondering:
There is no definite answer to this question, as it's all first come first served. You shouldn't feel rushed to book a DJ, but we don't want you to miss out either. In our experience, DJ inquiries generally start trickling in 12-15 months in advance of weddings, and 6-12 months ahead of other event types. Don't be shy about starting a conversation with us early in your planning stages, even if you're not ready to solidify DJ services yet!
Generally, Saturdays are the most popular day of the week for DJ services, May-June is "grad season", June-September is the peak of "wedding season" and November-December is "holiday season". Halloween Weekend and New Year's Eve are other busy days for DJ services that are worth noting.
We get it! You're planning an event that may be a whole year out. We suggest starting with your best guess of what your needs will be, and then we'll allow you to adjust your DJ package anytime during the planning process.
Yes! Juiced DJs love soaking up some vitamin D while makin' a splash at your outdoor event—but we can't literally get splashed, so we do require protection from the weather, a comfortable working environment, and electricity for longer events. For shorter events like a wedding ceremony, we do have DJ options that do not require power or a noisy generator.
No. The collective that Canadian DJ companies pay into is called CONNECT Music Licensing. SOCAN/Re:Sound tariffs are the responsibility of establishments where music is played, such as restaurants, bars, and event venues. If you're seeing this fee itemized on the bill from your venue, don't panic! It's just one of the business expenses they need to cover in order to offer you their space for your event.
Juiced Events has a great, reliable team of DJs who are dedicated to our clients. In the event of an illness or emergency, we have internal and external backup plans to minimize the risk to you. In our 25 years, we've never failed to honour a DJ commitment.
We never expect gratuity from our clients! If you do wish to show your DJ some appreciation for going above and beyond, we humbly thank you. It's our experience that clients tend to tip a DJ approximately 10% of the bill.
Our DJs will travel anywhere your vision may take us! Prices of DJ packages are based on events within the City of Red Deer. For events outside of Red Deer, please add $50 per hour of round-trip travel from our shop. For events further than one hour away, we may also require accommodations for our DJs depending how late your event ends.
